Menstrual health and hygiene, also known as menstrual hygiene management (MHM) is crucial for women's health and well-being. It involves access to menstrual hygiene products, privacy to change and dispose of materials, and addressing broader systemic factors related to gender equality, education, empowerment, and rights. Unfortunately, girls and women in rural areas often face challenges accessing clean water and toilet facilities, which can hinder their menstrual hygiene management. This, in turn, can impact their ability to participate in educational and social activities.

PROPOSED INTERVENTION

As part of the proposed intervention, TZF is planning to expand the program's reach and impact by partnering with more educational institutions and government bodies. The aim is to create a sustainable and integrated approach to menstrual health and hygiene, with a focus on creating long-term awareness and behaviour change. Additionally, TZF is exploring innovative ways to make eco-friendly sanitary napkins more affordable and accessible for disadvantaged communities.

With TZF's efforts, women and girls can achieve a healthier standard of living and become determinants for taking care of their families' well-being. Join hands with TZF in creating a more hygienic and healthy society for all.
