No Sleeping Hungry

Food is the most important supplement for survival. According to a report by the United Nations and the Ministry of Statistics nearly one-third (31.4%) of the children below five years of age in India will be stunted by 2022. According to government think tank NITI Aayog, merely 9% of infants in India, children between 6 to 24 months of age, received proper nutrition. Every kid requires three meals a day for happy and healthy growth. The problem related to hunger in India will not end any soon; immense efforts will be required to deal with such issues. The Tare Zameen Foundation strives to tackle the issues related to Malnutrition, Hunger by incentivising food to children, and the old aged people. The Tare Zameen Foundation’s initiative to feed every hungry tummy by every cent received will help them live a good life. We strive to ensure that children not only have access to 'unlimited food' through our Mid-day meal campaign, but also are prescribed to quantities of the nutrition. Another scheme in eradicating hunger includes provision of monthly Ration to the old aged people.

PROPOSED INTERVENTION

A non-profit must have ‘financial and logistic capacity to supply the mid-day meal on the requisite scale' to the hungry children. Hunger and Illiteracy are two major challenges faced by our nation, which has resulted as an obstacle to child’s health, education and survival. Tare Zameen Foundation is focused on eliminating hunger and thereby attracting more children by feeding a filling, nutritious mid-day meal, at almost every day. The Tare Zameen Foundation also aims to provide monthly ration kits to the old aged people of our country, the ones that are left behind to suffer without any penny with them. The foundation intends to deliver a million hopes, dreams and of course, smiles with the meals that it carries in our country. We’re willing to help kids across the country get the healthy food they need to thrive. To end hunger in India it is going to take all of us. Success Story

  • I am really proud to be associated with Aarogya Seva as a volunteer. Participating in volunteering activities to serve the citizens in improving their health gives immense satisfaction to me.
  • I was quite impressed by what they were doing in the area of Health and Education for the underprivileged.
  • This moment made me realize that this is the best way to channelize my little contribution to the needy.
  • I was privileged to be a part of digital enablement for Govt. school kids’ tie-up with BYJU’s and overwhelmed by the facilities extended to rural kids. They have also helped many needy patients, who cannot pay their medical bills.
  • I wish that you grow and rise, and thankful to Mr. Kote for his vision in social responsibility.
